The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) is an educational framework designed for students aged 11 to 16 years. It aims to provide a holistic approach to learning, fostering the development of young minds in various areas of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. The IB MYP is characterized by its interdisciplinary curriculum, which encourages students to make connections between different subjects and real-life situations. It focuses on the development of critical thinking, communication skills, and intercultural understanding, aiming to prepare students for active and responsible participation in a global society. The program consists of eight subject groups: Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, Arts, Physical and Health Education, and Design. These subject groups are taught within the framework of global contexts, which provide students with meaningful and relevant contexts for their learning.
